Using BATTMAN a researcher can construct test batteries to be used in Minds. After formulation of one or more test batteries in Minds a (sub) menu Test Batteries is created from which a battery can be administered. The tests are then self-initiated one after the other, without intervention of the test leader. After the final test of a battery, the participant will return to the test menu.
A test battery can be fitted with its own test settings. This facilitates an investigation with follow-up measurements in which, for example, parallel test versions are required: in test battery BASELINE, for example, a particular test stimulus version X is used, and in battery FOLLOWUP in the same test stimulus version Y. Therefore there is no need for the test leader to change settings in Minds between test sessions . This reduces the chance of procedural errors.
